Catch the Dallas Stars the Eagle Trailways Way!

Dallas is home to some of the best sports teams in the country: the Mavericks, the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Rangers.  But it’s also home to the less-publicized–but no less legendary– Dallas Stars, a Stanley Cup winning ice hockey team. The Stars have eight games in February and Eagle Trailways knows just how to get you to the American Airlines Center to see the team in action.

The Stars are members of the Pacific Division of the Western Conference of the National Hockey League (NHL). Before the team came to Dallas in 1993, they were located in Bloomington, Minnesota and went by the name of the Minnesota North Stars. At the time of their relocation, they were one of the three southernmost teams in the NHL along with the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Florida Panthers.

Thanks to the efforts of such NHL stars as Mike Modano (who holds the American record for the number of  goals scored), Brett Hull and Joe Nieuwendyk, the Stars went on to take the Stanley Cup trophy just six years later in 1999. The win was notable not just because they were relatively unknown but also because between 1995 and 2003, the Stars were the only team other than the Detroit Red Wings, the Colorado Avalanche and the New Jersey Devils to win the coveted award.

Currently, the Stars are ranked third in the Pacific Division of the Western Conference behind the San Jose Sharks and the Los Angeles Kings and are contenders for a berth in the post-season playoffs.  However, don’t miss out on the rest of the season–contact Eagle today and let a company that knows Dallas like nobody else help you reach for the Stars.
